If it's your first time at a spa, you may feel nervous or uncomfortable because you don't know what to expect. Or you may be a frequent spa user that wishes to find out more... Either way, we are here to answer any questions you may have.

Delivery

Belaqua Gift Packs are dispatched (in plain packaging), as soon as payment has been received and can be sent to you, to the recipient or to another address specified by you.

We charge a standard postage and packing fee of £2.95 per order and Gift Packs are sent by Royal Mail First Class Post to UK addresses. Please contact Customer Services if you would like to arrange delivery to an address outside of the UK.

If your Gift Pack needs to arrive urgently, we can arrange Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day delivery. A signature will be required at the delivery address.

  • Gift Packs ordered Monday to Thursday before 3pm will be delivered the next working day (UK only)  - £7.50
  • Gift Packs ordered on a  Friday will be sent by Royal Mail Guaranteed Saturday Delivery - £9.50

We are unable to offer a Guarantee next day delivery service for orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday.

There is no postage and packaging fee for E-Vouchers.

E-Voucher are sent to your designated e-mail address as soon as payment has been received from you.

Types of Belaqua Gift Voucher:

There are 3 types of Belaqua Gift Voucher:-

Belaqua Simply Spa Day Gift Voucher These vouchers are for Belaqua Simply Spa Days. There are 6 grades of spa day available: Simply Blissful £69.00, Simply Sensuous £99.00, Simply Divine £129.00, Simply Sublime £149.00, Simply Exquisite £199.00 and Simply Indulgent £299.00. These spa day packages offer a combination of treatments, spa sessions, lunch and refreshments. The elements of these spa day packages vary between each participating spa day venue. You may upgrade this voucher type to any other Belaqua Simply Spa Day featured on the Belaqua website, subject to the payment of any difference in price. It may not be possible to make any changes or upgrades to your voucher if the spa day has already been booked with the venue.

Belaqua Simply Spend – This is a monetary value voucher and can be used to book any treatment, spa day, package or accommodation for the amount specified on the voucher at any venue featured on the Belaqua website.

Belaqua Bespoke – This voucher is for a specific treatment, package or accommodation at a selected Belaqua spa venue. Even though this voucher has been purchased for a particular Belaqua venue, it is fully flexible and can be used to book any treatment, spa day, package or accommodation of equal value at any venue featured on the Belaqua website.

Your gift pack Voucher or E-Voucher is evidence of payment for a treatment, spa break or accommodation. The expiry date is printed on the front of your gift pack Voucher and can be found on the front of your E-Voucher.

All standard Belaqua Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase You must redeem your Voucher with Belaqua before the expiry date or the Voucher will cease to be valid. If you contact Belaqua before your Voucher expires, you may extend the expiry date by a further 6 months subject to an administration fee of £25.00, plus any increase in the package or treatment price.

 

Gift Vouchers may be purchased for Special Offers shown on the Belaqua website by calling Customer Services on 01225 319200.  A Gift Voucher issued for a Special Offer is valid for the duration of the Special Offer and the expiry date will be printed on the voucher. It is not possible to extend your Voucher if it was issued for a date specific offer or promotion.

Belaqua will not be liable in the event of a Voucher being lost, damaged or stolen and take no responsibility for any loss you may incur as a result of impersonation or identity fraud.

Refunds

If you are unhappy with your Belaqua Gift Voucher, you may return it to us within 14 days of purchase to receive a refund. The refund will be made directly to the customer who purchased the voucher and will be for the amount of the original purchase less postage and packaging.

Once a reservation has been made, no refund will be offered for your spa day or spa break. However, if the reservation is cancelled outside the stipulated cancellation period and therefore not liable for cancellation charges, a credit will be issued to your account which may be used against a future booking with Belaqua. The credit will be for the value of the cancelled reservation less any applicable administration fee. The expiry date of the credit will remain the same as the original voucher purchased

Making a reservation

All you need to do is choose a venue, select your spa day package or treatments and choose a date……………and we’ll do the rest!

All treatments, packages and accommodation are offered subject to availability. We recommend that bookings are made a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your intended spa break to minimise the risk of disappointment.

 

Your Booking Confirmation

When you redeem your Gift Pack Voucher or E-voucher (make your booking) Belaqua will confirm all the details of your reservation, including any treatments and accommodation to you in writing. This is your Confirmation Letter. You must keep your Confirmation Letter safe and take it with you on your spa day or spa break.

Attached to the bottom of your Confirmation Letter is a Confirmation Voucher, which will be retained by the spa when you attend your spa day or spa break. Your Confirmation Voucher forms part of your Confirmation Letter and will be for the value of your original Voucher plus any additional treatments or accommodation you may have purchased when you redeemed your presentation pack gift Voucher or E-Voucher

What if I have a medical condition?

All bookings made with the venue through Belaqua are made subject to medical status. You must tell us if you are pregnant, have undergone recent surgery, have high blood pressure, heart problems, cancer, a thyroid condition, epilepsy disorder or any other condition which may impact on your health. If you have any medical problems, you need to let us know at the time of booking so that we can ensure the treatment is suitable for you. If you fail to notify us of a medical condition, which prevents you from having treatments your voucher will become invalid.

Spa Etiquette

If it's your first time at a spa, you may feel nervous or uncomfortable because you don't know what to expect. Don't worry; we are here to answer any questions you may have.

At the start of your spa day you will usually be asked to complete a medical questionnaire. Before carrying out certain treatments it is important for the therapist to know if you have undergone recent surgery, have high blood pressure, have any allergies or a heart condition. They also need to know if you are pregnant, have varicose veins or any other condition, which may impact on your health. If you have any medical problems, let us know at the time of booking so that we can ensure that the treatments are appropriate for your condition. All treatments are booked subject to medical status. Suitability of treatments will be reconfirmed on arrival at the spa or therapy venue. If you fail to notify us prior to your spa break of a medical condition that prevents you from having your treatments, your voucher may be invalid. (See terms and conditions).

All of the venues listed are staffed by competent, helpful professionals who will explain the format of your spa day when you arrive. You should arrive for your appointment / spa day ahead of time to allow yourself the opportunity to relax prior to the beginning of the treatment. You should always arrive on time or early. If you are late your treatment time will be shortened or may not be honoured.

Remember, this is your day so let your therapist know your preferences regarding; volume and type of music, temperature of treatment room, pressure of massage and whether you wish to converse during your treatment or indeed anything else to help you totally relax.

Depending on what treatments you're having, you may be asked to undress. You would normally keep your underwear on unless asked to remove it and if that is the case the therapist will give you disposable briefs. (Remember, you do not have to do anything you are uncomfortable with, so please talk to your therapist) Bathrobes, a generous supply of towels and slippers are usually provided and during your treatment you are always partially covered by towels or a blanket. Your privacy is always respected.

After your treatment you would normally vacate the room within 5 and 10 minutes. To make the most of your treatment try to take time to relax and unwind in the relaxation area.

If possible leave your jewellery at home. If you do take any jewellery with you ensure that you keep it securely locked in your locker.

Please ensure mobile telephones are switched off before entering the spa environment.

When does my Gift Voucher expire?

The expiry date is printed on your Gift Voucher. It is valid for a minimum 6 months from the date of purchase and will be deemed invalid if it is out of date. We have a facility for you to extend the expiry date of your voucher for a further 6 months, subject to an administration fee of £25.00, however you must extend your voucher before the original expiry date.

What if I lose my Gift Voucher?

If you lose your voucher, we are unable to offer you an exchange or refund.

Belaqua will not be liable in the event of a Voucher being lost, damaged or stolen and take no responsibility for any loss you may incur as a result of impersonation or identity fraud.

Cancelling or Amending a Reservation

Once a booking has been made with a venue, charges may apply should you wish to change or cancel your spa break. These charges vary from venue to venue and may mean you will lose your booking and the value of your Voucher completely if your allotted treatment times cannot be resold.

Each venue has its own terms and conditions with regards to booking and cancellation (available on request), and your participation is conditional upon your acceptance of these. Once you have made your booking your contract is between you and the supplier venue. Any amendments to a confirmed booking will incur an administration charge.
